MILKY WAY

This beaded bracelet is composed of dark blue aventurine, hand painted decorative bead “Milky Way” and sterling silver spacer. The aventurine is a variety of quartz containing small mica flakes, that gives it a sparkling effect so similar to the twinkling of stars in the night sky. The Milky Way is the galaxy that contains our Solar System. Its name “milky” is derived from its appearance as a dim glowing band arching across the night sky whose individual stars cannot be distinguished by the naked eye.
